JOHNSON MESSENGER 4230

Picked up 2 radios today.First one is a 40 cha.JOHNSON MESSENGER 4230 took it home hooked it up to the 2000 works real good .Looks like it was just bought.#2 A REGENCY 23 CHA. CR-186 WORKES THE SAME.I always try to save these radios from thr junk pile.Anyone got any INFn these radiosop:Also I will start going the tubes i got the other day didnt forget about them73s coathanger N.E P.A.

Most of the old Johnson`s are great just the way they are!
Well built radio, and no need to molest them to sound good, nice old school radio and if it is in good shape, a nice find.... :drool::drool::drool:

Hope you got the PM i sent about the TUBESOK.Thanks for the INFO on the radioop: Last week i picked up a JOHNSON ANT.METER still in the box works fine with the radioop:73s coathanger N.E. P.A. PS the only thing i dont like about the radio is the mike and how it plugs into the radio.I think they could have done a lot better.WHAT DO YOU THINK73s.
