Hey all, It's not such a big deal, but with conditions out West lately I'm impressed.......Came out to check the forum at around 9:45pm PST before I turned in and had the Kenwood on idle. Heard some distant stations QSOn'. What the hell, I squeezed down on the lollipop and gave a shout. Had a nice chat with Foxtrot 01 in the land down under. As soon as I went QRT, 749 in New Mexico came back to me as well........My kenwood has a lot of cobwebbs in it these days. Not bad for a $8.00 homebrew Dipole....LOL.....It was nice to catch a little skip on thee Ol' base station......73's all
