Anybody know the correct pinout wiring for a K40 mic. (the older type with internal magnet and Hi/Lo switch) and a Cobra 18RV (5pin din).
I have tried several different combinations and have had no luck. Any help would be great.

Thanks

k40mic

Hi all, I see this is an old post, but I was given a brand new old K40mic, it is the dynamic plain noise cancelling one, well I wired it up for cobra 4 pin and No GO, checked wiring and the blue wire is no rec? I opened the mic and from factory the Blue and Yellow wires and not connected to anything at all? any one familiar with these mics? I need the rec, because the mic has to be plugged in to rec on a cobra 29 LTD Classic? HELP????

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
