K40 helicoil?

anyone have any thoughts about this antenna? I’ve been using Wilson 5000 with no problems but a friend gave me K40 for free so I’m trying it out. According to meter on radio swr with Wilson was 1:4 and now 1:5. Other than that I don’t know much about them. Any info would help thanks
 

Swr under 2:1 are completely irrelevant. If swr is the measure, I guess the tallest while staying under 2:1 is the best? I thought you stripped the threads in your antenna?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
