k40 power whip ??

has anybody tryed a k40 power whip glass antenna ?? I am looking for a antenna that don't cost a arm and a leg that can go on a beehive mount thanks
 

I have used the Wilson fgt4' silver load. Very good antennas. The only difference I can see is that the k40 does not use silver plated copper wire. Supposedly silver is a better conductor due to lese resistance.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
