wowwwwwwwwwwww that was breathtaking . id still use my 40 watt soldering gun with a wide tip . that blowtorch was pure ghetto !!!!!!! 
I have to wonder how high a frequency it is good for with all that stray capacitance from the long leads. Years ago i built he same thing but sandwiched the resistors between two pieces of brass shim stock with holes drilled in them. There was basically zero lead length and it was flat to 6m and still quite useable at 2m. After that homebrew loads of that type start to get hard to build due to that method of combining resistors.
