keeping swr meter hooked up

Is there any problem keeping my meter hooked inline? Just curios because I do alot of slip seating and like to keep a check on swr without hooking and un hooking meter all the time.I use 18ft of coax but my jumper for the meter is about 2ft. Hope this wont cause a problem.

Shouldn't cause a problem at all. But, after alot of abuse (bumping,vibration,ect.) the meter might not stay accurate.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
