Kenwood KMC-8 Microphone?

Anyone know anything about these microphones? What type are they and will they work with HF radios or export type radios?

hey eddie,how's it hangin'? nevermind!LOL!! anyways,is that the desk mic that looks like the motorola,midland,darome, business mics and such? i believe that's the one.if i'm correct

then yes it will work w/these rigs.these use a 500 ohm imp.

element.you have to do some playing around to get them wired correctly but,yes they will work. i'm sure you have heard me on my 440 using the "darome" desk mic version of these.they are "not" powered mics but are still good mics.i don't know if the kenwoods are of better quality than others,but they are still "no match" up against a heil or studio type mics,of course.i've always wanted to get one of those,

but they always go for way more than i am willing to spend!

Have you tried the mc-60 Fasteddy? it works very nicely on my 140. the vox feature works well with this mic. good luck.
