Kenwood MC-85 mic to Cobra 2000gtl

Looks like #6 Kenwood would go to #3 Cobra.
This mic has no way to ground the receive line from the Cobra. You'll need to buy the adapter posted above or build something to invert the output of the PTT line.

The signal that would be coming from pin #6 if it was used is receive audio like for a handie-talkie headset. Which is why the MC-85 doesn't use that pin since it doesn't have a speaker or headphone jack.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
