My TS-50's lighting display acts as if there is a bad ground. No matter what display light brightness you set it at, it will flicker back and forth to full brightness then back to the setting you set it at.

I've looked for this problem a few times now. I even soldered some ground jumpers in hopes to get a better ground to the display.

Anyone else run into this problem? If so, what is the fix?

Besides that the rig is 100% except for it's matching tuner the AT-50 needing reset once in a while.

Thanks for any replys.. Bill N8FIS

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
