My son tracked down a local club that was testing and arranged for us to go take our General exam last night at 7 pm outdoors in a park. We both passed!

Tim has been chomping at the bit.... about a month ago bought a Yaesu FT-991A and would ONLY work the Tech portion of 10m (besides the VHF !). Now he can open her on up!!!

Just had to tell it.....

Your budget to get there?
You need not spend huge dollars, but knowing what your desires are in working what bands will tell us how to help you... to get you up and running the quickest and most efficiently for your needs. Plus at a cost, you can live with.
