Hello all, I purchased a used Lafayette "range boost" from a friend, and it is in really nice condition. It sounds absolutely superb hooked up to my HR2600. It looks identical to the Turner +3 desk mic. Is it possible the Lafayette is a +3 sold by a different company?

Thanks, Hossless<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/tired.gif ALT="|I">

Yes they are the same microphones with different names on them.Back in the cb boom days turner did some contract manufacturing for many of the brands available at the time.

Ive also seen +2 mics with the Johnson logo on them.

Appreciate the comeback guys. These +3's are awsome sounding mics, very clean and clear with alot of audio.

Thanks, Hossless
