Layfett 2400 & D104

A local has a problem wrieing a D104 M6B to his Layfett 2400. He's got it so it works, but next to no modulation.

Does anyone know what wire goes to what pin? It could also be he needs to turn up the modulation VR in the radio...anyone know what # the VR is for that?
