I paid 255 incl. shipping for the Lincoln from www.bander.com

in Finland. {includes mod. for 11 meters}

Chipswitch from www.bills2way.com/

local shop,no shipping

49.95/ Chipswitch

8.00/socket

65.00/ install and audio jack

123.00 total for Bill's

Total for both items was $378.00

Bander is prone to fluctuate a little due to the Euro vs. Dollar

However they seem to be consistently cheaper than anywhere else. You need to email Bander for current pricing.

Hope this helps

DX Man,

Give Doc of Doc's Electronics a call and he can give you a run down on his prices. Doc does a helluva job on these radios. Of course the work he did for me was on used and not new rigs.

Also, which radio performs the best? 2600, 2510 or Lincoln.

DXman

That's a hard one to answer. Both my 2600 and 2510 are about the same performance wise. I don't have a Lincoln to make a comparison. I have used both the 2600 and the 2510 in the mobile and as a base and got very good reports from those that I had contacts with. I'm not real sure how the new Lincoln's compare but those I have made contacts with are happy with them.

Hope this helps!

I got the HR2600 very cheap, and it already had the chipswitch installed. I had Doc do alot of stuff to it, so it cost a "wee bit" more. So now it's one heck of a base radio, on both am and sideband.

DXMan, contact Doc @Doc's electronics in NY. He IS da' man.

I guess I will chime in. My Lincoln does a great job on AM also. sideband? you know the answer.

I was wondering how much is going into these radios with the NPC mods and other various mods such as the "chipswitch".

Like what is the total price that you would have into the radio with these install (including the price of radio & shipping).
