I got and old true modulator from a friend it says Blackcat model JB-150 on back but i thought it was a JB-12, I use to have one in the late 70's. It has 2 tubes 1 8417 and 1 6AQ5A. This is my question when I key it up the relay does fine but it delays about 1 second when I unkey. If I remember right the

6AQ5A the small tube is used for the keying circuit is it possible that the tube is weak and causing this or could it be a delay for SSB? I have already stuck some 400 grit sanding paper through the relay but that did not help. Anyone got any ideas on this I shure would be thankful.I don't remember my old JB-12 doing this.
