lost sound

i have a stryker 490 for about a month now. The problem i am having is that iam loosing sound. The meter is showing that a signal is coming in and when i talk into the mic i can hear myself. Iam just not getting incoming sound. I have to tap my radio on the side and then the sound comes on. I have taken it to shop 3 times. They try to recreate lost of sound and with no luck. Has anyone expericence this before or have an idea. any info apprec....

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
