Lunar preamp

[Hoosier Camel Jockey]

I am looking at a Lunar PAI 27B ( model # ?) preamp that is for sale. Does anyone know anything about these? Do thy perform as advertised ( increased receive without increased noise level)? Any ideas as to how much they are worth? I need to make a decision by 2/20 so time is kind of important. I am going to do a search on the internet, but I would like to hear from anyone who had used one before, Thanx in advance.
