Hello group,

I have a friend who just acquired a Maco Shooting
star 8 element beam. This beam seems to have a few
mysteries. This friend is looking for pictures of the
assembled beam. Does anybody out there have
some pictures taken from a range close enough to
see whatever details he is looking for. We have
the artists rendering, we need some real life pictures.

Thank you in advance.

Maco beam pictures

Hello Group,

Thank you for the advice, however, the Maco site has
artists renditions of the different antennas. The Maco site is
the first place I thought of as well.

As I stated before "This friend is looking for pictures of the
assembled beam. Does anybody out there have
some pictures taken from a range close enough to
see whatever details he is looking for. We have
the artists rendering, we need some real life pictures.".

I personally run an Interceptor 10K, I am a typical radio
guy, I took hundreds of pictures of my Interceptor 10K,
you would probably call this pride, pride of ownership.
also I can look at the antenna up close at every angle
and see every detail, all without climbing the tower. I
guess I am looking for somebody who has the same
level of pride of ownership as I do.

Thank you in advance.

100's of pictures?? Sounds like a fine line between pride and obsession. Seriously thou, have you checked out Google images? Most folks actually don't take a lot of close up pix of their antennas, at least not close enough to see a lot of detail unless it is something specific. Any special part you need to see up close?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
