Magnum 257 and CB EC 990 echo chamber

I have a Magnum 257 HP and I bought a CB EC990 Echo chamber which will work fine on FM and AM but will not work right on SSB I have been told that echo chambers will not work right on SSB but yet I hear this model of echo chamber work 4 others on SSB Any help would b aprecieated

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
