Lately, my RR tuned Delta Force seems to be losing output power, but only on SSB. What's wierd is that on AM, I see a good 20 watts and on FM about 25, which seems perfectly fine. Originally on SSB, I was seeing a good 30 watts, but all the sudden, it dropped to about 15 watts. I flicked the ALC which bumped it to 19, but that still doesn't seem right. Any suggestions? (other than send it in...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/nerd.gif ALT="8o"> )

You might try to replace the ALC trimmer if it's having an effect when plucked. I can't recall if that was a used unit or a new, if it was new it should still be under warranty. I want to say it was a trade we worked and a trade in to me. Nevertheless a funky pot will do that, investigate that first.

Yeah, this was a trade, so no warranty. That sounds like a good idea on the ALC...I'll give that a try tonite and see what happens.

Thanks!
