Magnum Delta Force RX sensitivity?

On a Delta Force, does anyone know if there's a RX sensitivity POT or adjustment insde the radio? I've noticed on my base setup that a lot of the stations sound splatty and fuzzy like the RX is turned up too much as compared to my other radios. It doesn't seem to help when I adjust the RF Gain, either.

Any suggestions?

Did you try using the "step" and step up 1k or down 1k to check for clarity?

If that doesn't do it there isn't a specific pot for rx sensitivity per se, but you can desensitize the rx'er somewhat by retuning the rx section.

It sounds like the radio may have moved out of alignment slightly whether in freq or rx alignment. Usually strong signals would fuzz in a Delta and the rf gain will take that out if the above mentioned was not the problem.

I have a newer Delta Force and I don't seem to have this problem. I actually like the RX better than my Galaxy 99.

Just for kicks, I put my Cleaspeech speaker on the radio. With the DSP kicked in, the audio was clear and crisp. I could theorize, but I'm not sure exactly if that means anything...
