Rugrat,

Delta is a touchy radio to operate in my experience. They don't drift much on SSB, but the mic gain and echo are hard to deal with when going fron AM to SSB! If you don't use echo then that should't be a prob.! Also, they will go off freq on transmit on SSB, so if you buy one, get the clarifier opened up! The memory functions are the best, especially if you go from 27.185AM to 27.475LSB like I do! 2 buttons does it! They are good radios, but hard to fix! Don't ever think about asking to have the lights in the front panel fixed! Lots of labor!

If Galaxy made this radio it would be the BOMB!

Does any one run one of these radios in harsh conditions ?(SUV, Off road etc...) If so please let me know how they are holding up. I am really thinking about putting one in my truck. I heard they were not built real sound....

I bought one from RR several months ago. It is used in a VERY rough riding spring-ride daycab tractor.

I've had no durablity problems whatsoever!

This radio gets compliments on how it sounds wherever I go...

HCJ..........here's what Rolling Radios told me to do and it worked!

Very simple. Get someone whom is stationary, and their ssb is stable and you trust to be on frequency. Very carefully and SLIGHTLY adjust RV108 to the right until he says you're on. This will likely only require a SLIGHT adjustment. This is located a little left of center and near the very front under a wire bundle.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Wm.

Hope this helps!

PS. I was a bit high off freq.

The rv 108 adjustment works fine. It's like a super sensitive coarse clarifier, it moves tx and rx.

Hoosier, just adjust rv108 to bring in the tx.
