MAGNUM OMEGA OR DELTA????

From talking to the guy that designed Top Gun board and worked with manufacturer on the board design etc. He tells me that reciever and transmitter on the Omega beat the Delta Hands down. Only thing I am being told not everyone knows how to get the Omegas set up to work at its fullest performance capabilities.

I have had many of the deltas, what is different betwen the Delta ans omega, and does anyone have one or any opinions on what they think of it. Also is the power and ears better?

Bobby, i'm kinda on the fence still like you. when these first came out there were some bugs to work out. Then I heard that alot of how well the radio sounded and worked depended on who tuned it, the wrong mod by the wrong tech would not work well. What I am starting to hear is that they seem to be doing well these days.

I will probably end up gettign one in about 2 months. I really like the radio, and i like what i hear about the power and sound quality, BUT, i cant understand why they did not go ahead and add a 6 digit freq county to this rig? I am going to probably end u psending it to Richard at 8541 electronics and have him do her fancy. I just want to hear more notions on the beast before i put it in my cage, LOL

Premiere Electronics has the the Omega's last I knew at a reasonable price as well.

I think the omega is going to be a fine radio, just got to wait for them to iron out the bugs liek they did on the delta force radios. Everyones opinion wil lbe different in what they think of radios, but im looking forward to getting one, it will be a couple of months before i do, but im not sure if i can wait that long, might be a couple of weeks knowing me, i will keep yall posted on what goes on and my opinion of the rig,<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT="">
