seems to be a real nice built dx'r but it sucks with cold start dead keys seems it has a mind of its own with a dk am. but once it warms up its all good:tongue_smilie:
 

That is it exactly. Any of the newer radios that now have the mosfet final will do this until they warm up.
 
I turn all my radios and amplifiers on 1/2 - 1 hour before transmitting on them even if their stable its just a habit Ive always had. I walk past click them on and go about my business then when I get back to them they are ready to go. :wink:

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
