I have recently installed a Maverick A-24 with a X-Force 400 Amp pushing. Also using a Astastic D-104 mic and a steel whip. Does anyone have good reviews of this set up and have any recommendations! I would appreciate any info. There is a bunch of knobs for me to set! Thank you guys for any help!

Magnum Maverick A24

Should be pretty straight foreward. Set the RF gain wide open, nb/anl on, 10kc off, mic gain at 2/3's, variable power where ever you need it for the amp. The AMT control (all mode talkback) is a volume control for your talkback , you can set the echo as well by listening. That should be it.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
