Ok,
i just got a maxon mcb45w at a swap meet in new condition for 10 bucks, seems like a decent radio although not the best i have used <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT="

I have been having allot of trouble finding any info on this radio, i know it can be modded for out of band i don't really want that. Can i tune it my self? Does it require any special equipment? Where can i learn how? Prob is there are no local CB dealers/service shops near me and i really don't want to ship the thing off... not that i paid to much to take a little risk.
