Messenger Amp Repair

Anyone that is skilled in working on solid state amps.
The gentleman that was building that line( messenger) of amps ( Ray) had a stroke, he sold the inventory to Billy Ward, and Billy passed away about a month ago.
I do not think his family is going to continue on with any of the radio stuff he was involved in.
If you do a search on E-Bay some of the remainder of the boards, cases and incomplete amps are being sold as Parts with no transistors.
At some point I am sure some one will pick up the name and start a copycat company just like they did when Palomar in CA went out of business just because the name is popular.

At the current cost of transistors that Messenger in the link would cost the $330 for the winning bid plus $350 for the pills. After doing all the soldering who knows of the amp will work? Nice amps, much better than Texas Star.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
