I have a Heathkit HM 2102 for VHF, how acurate would it be on HF? I have tried it it seems to be spot on, reads wattage perfectly and getting simular readings as my radioshack meter does for SWR.
It MIGHT not be too bad - generally you can't trust an HF meter above about 30 MHz, but a VHF meter might do fine on HF. The meter isn't spec'ed for anything below 50 MHz, and you want to watch the power level.
