MFJ-849 SWR/Power Meter

I swore off MFJ products a while back but am considering rolling the dice on one of these.
Does anyone have one and is using it?

I was considering the one to the right of the 849 but like you I have had bad luck with MFJ and I am also scared.

Yep. Have almost hit Buy Now on The Daiwa a dozen times.
But with failing eyesight and a mind headed south (or vice-versa), the digital sure is easier.

That's a COMET...the meter is 3 5/8th" wide and 3 1/4" tall...backlite w/12volts...If you can't see that how do you run the radio!

Daiwa hard to beat.

I thought Daiwa made a unit with two inputs like that MFJ. Might have been a Comet.

Lost me when he said the MFJ doesn't do PEP power. I have an LDG meter that does PEP.
