im looking to purchase a MFJ license plate mount for my car. i would like to get some feed back from different people about this mount and of course the pros and cons of it. thanks. i forgot to mention im gonna be using it for my 102 inch whip.

That mount is probably the worst way to mount a 102" whip. You need to get the whip on a solid body mount as high above ground as possible and get as much metal under the antenna that you can for it to radiate well. Otherwise almost all your power will be gone to ground losses.
If you can't mount the whip properly then my suggestion would be to just go with a mag mount.
