I have a HTX-100 that has a bad mic element. Any suggestions on what type or brand to replace it with. I really don't want to buy a new mic so want to try and just replace the element.
 

I thought it was an electic type because it uses 8 volts in the mic circuit. Not sure what the difference is though.
