Got my power cord ts-690s. Now this didn't come with a mic.
I want to wire up a 636L for now till I find a good mic for it.
Anyone know the wiring info for the Kenwood ts-690s so I can wire up the 636L?
Receive filter options above link. The best around!
I had a TS-450 for like 11 years.
Installed were these:
Cascade 2.4kc SSB filters (both IF's) radio has only one installed from factory (no longer available) add #94 instead
2.8 kc SSB filters (both IF's) #88 + #89
6.0 kc AM filter #100
1.8 kc narrow SSB filter #95 (though I rarely used that unless band was super crowded)
These make it a receiver beyond believe, when I sold the rig, I got more out of the filters than the rig!!!
I could out hear most rigs of the era. These are superior to the filters Kenwood made for this!
