It depends.
On the radio and the passband it has. If it is narrow, the mic won't matter very much.
On your voice...there is a mic for every voice.
On the desired effect, the sound quality you are looking for. Are you looking for nice full range or pinched up DX audio?
On the application. Mobile, base, quiet shack or noisy area, close talking, desk distance etc etc.
