Today (October 5) is the official release date for the new Windows 11 operating system, Microsoft has announced, but it will be a slow reveal. Radio amateurs may be eager to learn if it will run the station software they’re running under Windows 7 or Windows 10, and if they’ll need new device drivers.

My wife has a new laptop on order with WIndows 11. It has not shipped yet though. I have to say I am curious about backwards compatibility myself! We will just have to wait and see.

My PC does not have TPM on the mother board so no Windows 11 for me. Not upgrading my fantastically power desktop just to get Windows 11.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
