This is very good to hear ! Like Doc said .....K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) sometimes just works out great ! I won't go into coax
length because that's just another egg to fry. You changed things around and it's now working for you , that's AWESOME ! even with your spot light , IM sure it's all good , might just be making out as a better ground plane for you ?, but I dont' see anything wrong with the 10 inch shaft if you wanted to go that route. Congrats !! on getting things going for yourself. :thumbup:

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
