Might need to move into antennas.

I've had an idea. I'll try it soon I think. Heres the idea. I have a bunch of cable transmission coax. Its half inch foam covered with an aluminum sheath. I want to run it supported 6 inches or so above the roof of my car. I have an 8ft whip on the tail of the car that I want to attach to the coax. So itll hit the feedpoint of the 8ft whip, about 3ft above the feedpoint I'll jumper it to the transmission coax. So itd be some kinda stupid half vert half horz. I could keep looping it inside of itself adding more length. I saw a landrover that they used the luggage rack as a hidden antenna. See drawings. Poor drawings.
