What I did to make my mobile a sturdy base station for table top use.

I've noticed in a lot of pictures I've seen where mobile radio's used as base stations it seems their biggest problem is how to keep their mobile radio sturdy and solid. I happened to have a L bracket used in framing "construction" I cut into two peices them smoothed the edges and and added rubber feet and bolted to the original mounting bracket.
