Mod for ID 51

I recently modified my ID 51 for expanded frequencies. When I enter new expanded frequencies in to the CS-51 software, I get a yellow triangle next to the frequency. When I save to my SD card I get an error message that there is a programming error and am asked if I will allow it to be corrected. If I select "yes", all the expanded frequencies are deleted. If I select "No"' the frequencies are saved to my SD card with a message that I will not be able to update my radio from the SD card. When I try to update, I get an error message on the radio and a message to reboot the radio.
Is there a fix that will allow me to program these new frequencies to my radio? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.

This sounds like the problem I had with the ID-31 when trying to program in out of band frequencies before I modified it. I have modified the ID-51 and have had zero problems programming it. Which modification did you do?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
