Modulator Part ?

I have a modulator that was built by the same company that built the Firebird sweep tube amps. It does not have a model # and has 1 6BQ5 tube. It needs a new variable cap. (Ithink thats what it's called) for the tuning control. Are these or a suitable replacement available. Thanks, Wayne.

What I think you are looking for is a air variable capacitor which Im not sure of the value of.



You might try contacting Kens electronics by sending him a email he has a lot of these older parts and schematics still in stock.www.kenselectronics.com

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
