I am trying to do a modification to a Cobra 132A 23CH. SSB radio. I did a search on the net and keep coming up with to cut 2 different cd's and there numbers. My problem is that I don't have a schematic to tell me where they are on the board. I am right about the cd standing for ceramic disk? I hope. Does anyone know where i can find a schematic on the web for this radio? Or is there a better way to mod this radio for more swing? I know this is a really old radio but i really like it to play around with it, has some extra channels in it. Thanks in advance.

10 watts pep on Am is all you are gonna get. This radio was made under the old low power rules before the FCC update the rules for increased power.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
