I am thinking about mounting my hd 450 to the bottom on my 2000 gtl the way I have my radio in my mini van I could mount it to the bottom. Should I mount the amp to the bottom of the radio or would both get to hot.
If you are asking me, I would keep it six feet away.
Better cooling, less RF/SWR intereference, I wouldn't be hacking on the 2000GTL, to name a few things that come to mind.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
