use the tool box and buy a sirio performer 5000 3/8 trucker antenna.it will screw right where the 102 is and its about 20 inches shorter.

on my ranger i use my tool box with the riser that they make to mount antennas on,,, 102 inch steel whip 6 inch military spring,,,, heavy duty beehive mount ,, amphenol 90 degree turn into belden rg 213 coax 9 foot long to amp behind seat then 6 foot of rg 8x to radio,,, works for me is plenty of loud and gets out damn good,,,
