I just realized we do not have a dedicated propagation section here (or I didn't see it).

Realizing that the angle of incidence is not the same as the takeoff angle, I wanted a simple calculator that found the angle of incidence based on desired QSO distance and average F layer height so I could use the critical frequency charts online to determine what paths should be possible based on the CF at the midpoint.

Does anyone know of a critical frequency map with propagation path pins so one can drag them around and see the CF at the midpoint? The flat maps make it difficult to visualize the propagation path and the likely refraction points.
