I have a Mura PRX-300 desk mic that I want to wire to a Galaxy DX-2547.

It has a 4 pin plug with an unknown wiring configuration. The 5 core coiled lead appears original, and I want to identify the functions of the cores, ie TX, RX, Audio, Shield.

The cores and existing connections are:

braid (pin 1)
yellow & green (pin 2)
blue (pin 3)
red (pin 4)

I have looked in the usual places on the net without success, any help will be welcomed. Thank you.

The audio wire on 99% of mics is the one that the braid is wrapped around. So now you know which is shield and which is audio. To determine the rx and tx wires you can follow these procedures:

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
