My Mobile Install

Just finished installing my new radio rack in the mobile today. I ordered the Galls vertical console last week. Got everything cleaned up and lined up and installed.

Today I went and bought an add-on fuse panel to power everything.

Top to bottom:

RCI-2950 (Non-DX)
Icom V8000
Radio Shack 1000 Channel Scanner (Can't remember model # at the moment)

Still needing to do a little bit to finish up the job, but I can wait until I have more daylight and time to do it. Wanted to get the radios in before the snowstorm hits Thursday.

... I knew that was going to happen...

it's all in the presentation, you know...

(and having seen that 'rack' without the 'augmentation', it's still a nice rack.)

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
