NCX-5 National Transceiver


FYI you can download a pdf version of the manual at bama.edebris.com/download/national/ncx5/ncx-5.PDF.In the meantime, it uses a three conductor 1/4 headphone type plug called a TRS for Tip,Ring,Sleeve.The sleeve is the ground for the mike audio and the PTT ground.The tip,or very end of the plug is the TX line.Connect it to ground to TX. The Ring connector is the mike hot audio connection.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
