I have a Magnum S45HP and wanted to add a better mic to the 4 pin conector on the side of the radio, And reading the article about " Great Mic Sound for your CB or Export Radio" Bought a Shure PG48 mic and a Behringer XENYX 802 mixer The cable is a balanced XLR from the mic to the Mixer and was a little confused about makeing the cable from the mixer out. It has two 1/4 " jacks left and right my guess is to use either one with a ( not sure here) balanced or un balanced 1/4 cable on one end and the other end to my 4 pin mic plug with a switch. The mic it takes is a standard 4 pin. does anyone have a diagram to wire this up.
thanks

Looking at the insided of a stock 4 pin basic mic I may have to buy a DPDT momentary pushbutton switch, use the unbalanced audio cable and a 4 wire mic replacement cable with a 4 pin conector.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
