I have a D104 mic old 4 pin and I need to wire this up to a Cobra GTL 2000 5 pin plug . Can the shield and the the common wire be tied together since I only have a 4 wire cable on this D104 or do I need to run a new cable I am kind of unsure at this point. On my D104 Mic the colors are red, shield, pink, and a yellowish/green wire. Can anyone help me?

D104 mic wiring

Since I only have a 4 wire cable on this D104 mic there is no blue wire. Do I need to run a brand new cable between the mic plug and the inside of the D104 mic? Can't I make this work without having to connect 5 wires.?

I will try this wiring you have suggested. Where did you get this information. I have been checking on the internet in many different locations. I even looked at the manuf web site and it did not give the wiring for a 4 wire cable.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
