I have a cobra 142 gtl with a few issues and I;'m hoping some one can help me out.
heres the first one, and it might fix all of my problems because its a big one, a few months back i had to replace the mb3756 IC, after doing so, i realized there was a lose wire and I have no clue where it goes, its a short black wire about one and a half inch long, it is on the top of the board and is connected to the 3rd pin from the back of the mb3756.
other things the radio is doing is on AM its swinging to 15watts, and the am power adjusment dosn't do anything.
And its not putting out any RF power on ssb
