The device plugs into your PC or Mac to create your own D-Star hotspot for simplex operations. It will also connect to D-Star gateways, allowing you to talk to stations around the world. The DVAP has a very low-power signal at only about 10 mW and is is intended to reach only a few hundred feet. A removable antenna will help extend the range, allowing you to use your D-STAR HT away from the computer around your house or around your neighborhood at low power.

The device is priced at $269 and is currently available from HRO.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
